Which attributes do you admire most in an executive?
The attributes I most admire are grit, transparency and focus on winning as a team.
What’s your favorite mobile application and why?
My favorite mobile app is Waze. I think Waze changed how we think about the power of real-time data and AI enabling us to do more, faster. In their use case, it is getting from point A to B but more widely, this type of application can provide valuable data for a number of industries based on the collective data set. It is a good north star for other AI based technology companies.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to prioritize spending any spare time with my family. We also like playing tennis, I try to get on a court several times a week. Tennis provides me with a clear reminder that I am not 19 anymore. In addition, I am a Buffalo Bills football fan having endured some painful years since the magic of the early 90s when I became a supporter. I do hope that the 2020s bring some positive play-off outcomes for the team.
