Q&A
What is your favorite book and why?
“Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow” by Yuval Noah Harari. The thought-provoking follow-up to his book “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” proposes a future focused on use of technology advancements to dramatically change Humankind. He discusses technologies that are in use today to evolve our world to look like the Terminator or Westworld series. While several of the storylines within the book are undesirable for Humankind, better to contemplate the disaster than be uninformed.
Where is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Big Sky, Montana – The site of many memorable family trips underscored by historic blizzards, bear sightings, and undisturbed nature. A remarkable location for all summer and winter activities from worldclass skiing to epic hiking. The remote location and few hotels have historically limited the number of travelers which adds to the peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
What is your favorite sports team?
Minnesota Vikings - Before the age of 11, my Vikes had broken my heart 3 times (didn’t see the first loss) with disappointing Super Bowl losses. My loyalty has been tested several times during my 20 years living in the Land of Tom Brady, but jumping on the bandwagon would have been too easy… stay the course until Purple Reigns!
