What is the best part of your job?
I love telling the Great Hill story to new investors, as well as sharing updates with our existing investors on the constant evolution of our portfolio. My favorite part, though, is when investors share their professional and personal stories with me, and we connect on a deeper level. As I simplify for my kids when they ask me what my job is: I make new friends and keep the old.
What is your favorite summer activity?
Deep sea fishing with my three boys and my husband is the absolute best. It's so refreshing to be out on the ocean, in fresh air, in no rush to do anything else. The boys cast their lines over and over again with hope that the next attempt will be the catch of a lifetime. They dream about the nibble they just had and confidently tell each other that the one that got away “was definitely HUGE”; then they all light up with pride and pure bliss when one of them finally reels in a catch. I treasure those memories and hope we can make many more of them as the boys get older.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Work hard and be kind to people.
