Q&A
Where did you grow up?
This is a bit of a tricky question as I lived in five states during the first 12 years of my life. My father was an Army Ranger and eventually had a career at Ford Motor Company. Both jobs required us to relocate and I spent time in Kansas, Washington, Michigan, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. All of that traveling early in life definitely makes you adaptable to many different situations. It also made me want to have a job where I could travel often to be able to see new places and cultures.
What do you do in your spare time?
I spend time with my family - my wife, Maggie, and three daughters, Sloane, Everly, and Kingsley. Since relocating to London from Boston in late 2022, we have been spending our spare time exploring the vibrant, diverse, and historic neighborhoods of our new city and the many beautiful surrounding communities. We are enjoying learning and exposing our girls to new cultures and experiences that the UK and Europe have to offer.
What was your first job?
My first job was at Ideal Concrete, a manufacturer of concrete and brick pavers. I needed money for college so worked long hours in the yard as well as the manufacturing floor doing pretty much anything I was told. I learned a lot of lessons that summer about the value of money, time, and hard work.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Focus on all the small details and the big milestones will take care of themselves.
