What attributes do you admire most in an executive?
I really admire executives that have a ton of grit. The journey of a successful business never looks like a straight line that goes up and to the right. There are always setbacks and the leaders that learn from those challenges and relentlessly push through tend to rise to the top.
What do you do in your spare time?
I have two school aged children who are both active in sports, so my free time is dominated by their schedules. At this point I have mostly retired from coaching, so I spend my weekends as a super-fan, cheering my kids on from the sidelines. I think I have been to every soccer and lacrosse field within three hours of my house. During the off season we love to ski and visit our favorite mountains across New England and out west as much as we can.
What is your favorite food?
I am from New York, so it must be pizza. There is nothing like a hot slice of pizza from a classic New York pizzeria. I have an unfulfilled dream of getting a slice from every pizza joint in New York City.
