Great Hill Partners and its Growth Team recently held its inaugural Growth Summit in Nashville. With recent rapid technological advancements, including AI, upending the business world, the Summit aimed to help business leaders share best practices, form lasting connections, and access the most innovative experts from our portfolio and beyond on topics ranging from sustainable growth and customer success to data modernization and practical applications of AI.
The Summit brought together GTM, technology and product leaders to discuss the latest developments in AI and the interlock between sales, marketing, product and strategy. Featured speakers included our Growth Team, CTOs of our portfolio companies TodayTix, Vatica, Pareto, Bombas and Terminus and GTM leaders of Auvik, Blue Ridge, Intapp, Vatica, and Quantum Health. Participants also heard from other industry experts in areas ranging from AI to freestyle skiing, including:
- Kit DesLauriers, an American ski-mountaineer who was the first person to ski the highest peak on every continent – earning her a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year award in 2015.
- Allie K. Miller, a top AI leader, advisor, and investor who previously served as Global Head of Machine Learning for Startups and Venture Capital at Amazon (AWS).
- Jacco van der Kooij, a SaaS go-to-market expert, mentor, and the founder of Winning By Design, a Silicon Valley based B2B sales expertise firm with offices across the globe.
- Stephen Diorio, Director of the Revenue Enablement Institute and an established authority in sales and marketing performance management and revenue operations.
- Lauren Goldstein, a sales and marketing executive who has delivered customer success over the past 25 years to companies including Adobe, Airbnb, Amex, Google, HP, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, LinkedIn, Salesforce and Tableau.
- Peter Armaly, the VP of Customer Success at ESG who previously held senior roles in both at Oracle and BMC Software.
In addition to attending roundtable conversations led by industry experts, participants also had the chance to engage in peer-to-peer learning and discuss real issues, shared challenges and key growth tactics in an open environment.
It was rewarding to gather with leaders of our portfolio companies in-person and take the time to share knowledge and best practices to drive our collective growth. In today’s complex landscape, our Growth Team’s work is more important than ever in supporting our portfolio companies’ continued expansion and success. We’re grateful for the wonderful group of business leaders who took the time to attend.
