We’re proud to announce that Great Hill Managing Director Craig Byrnes and Principal Joe Germanese have been named to GrowthCap’s list of the Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors of 2022. Candidates were evaluated over three rounds, and GrowthCap considered feedback from colleagues, peers, portfolio company CEOs and others to evaluate candidates’ investment skill, judgement and performance over time. Craig was also named to the 2021 list.
Since joining the firm in 2013, Craig has supported the firm’s investments across healthcare, healthcare technology, software, and technology-enabled services. He helped to spearhead Great Hill’s successful investments in companies such as IVX Health, RxBenefits, Vatica Health and Quantum Health, and was involved in the firm’s exit from Qualifacts.
“At Great Hill, I’ve had the unique opportunity to partner with and learn from the founders and leaders of innovative companies that are disrupting the healthcare industry,” said Craig. “Working with companies at the growth phase is incredibly rewarding, as it gives us the opportunity to support them at a critical point in their trajectories as we strive to further scale their capabilities and offerings.”
Joe has led many of the firm’s investments in financial technology, business services and software since 2011. Notably, he’s supported the firm’s investments in companies such as Versapay, Vanco and NMI, and was involved in the firm’s successful exits of Confirmation.com, PayChoice and Chrome River.
“I am grateful to be a part of a firm that values cultivating long-term and meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs and management teams,” said Joe. “Great Hill takes deep pride in seeking to help companies meet their full potentials, and I am proud to play a small role in the firm’s mission of supporting, empowering and growing innovative and disruptive businesses.”
