LONDON – 15 December 2015 – Intapp today announced that BLM, the UK and Ireland's leading insurance and risk law specialist with over 800 lawyers, has selected Intapp Flow software to enable BLM to receive instructions electronically via Guidewire. Guidewire is a leading platform used by more than 200 Property/Casualty insurers around the world.
"Intapp Flow was the logical choice for this project given the size and complexity of integration required," said Abby Ewen, IT Director, BLM. "By linking our systems with those of our insurance customers, we can work together more efficiently and enable them to track and manage claims processing more effectively. We expect to see a growing number of insurers integrating with their panel law firms and other suppliers electronically to streamline the services they provide to their own customers."
BLM will use Intapp Flow to integrate its systems with ediTRACK, the data exchange infrastructure which enables insurers to extend the Guidewire platform to their external suppliers and vendors. Electronic integration will help insurers improve the quality of instruction data provided to BLM; provide insurers with visibility into activity and performance in the fulfilment of instructions; and drive efficiencies ultimately to the benefit of their customer base.
"Electronic supply chain management is transforming how organizations manage their operations across many industries, and can create a competitive advantage for professional services firms that move quickly," said Mark Bilson, Vice President, Integration Practice, Intapp. "Intapp Flow is ideal for connecting applications commonly used in law firms and creating associated workflows – and can help to align firms more closely with their clients. We're very pleased to help BLM get closer to key customers in insurance."
Intapp Flow – a workflow application introduced by Intapp in 2014 – has seen rapid adoption as an easy-to-use approach for creating workflows and automating process execution, management and reporting. Offering an attractive, modern user interface, Intapp Flow enables rapid development of workflows, and includes Intapp's widely adopted data integration software used by more than 420 organizations.
