YogaWorks, a California-based provider of yoga instruction, has expanded into Texas with the acquisition of YogaOne's seven Houston-based studios.

YogaOne co-founders Albina and Roger Rippy will help oversee management of the Houston studios and continued expansion of the YogaWorks brand in the area. Since 2008, YogaOne had opened locations in Midtown/Downtown, Galleria/Uptown, Heights, Bellaire, Pearland, Kingwood and The Woodlands.

"YogaWorks shares our mission of bringing authentic and diverse programming to students of all levels in welcoming environments and has been doing so for 30 years," Roger Rippy said in an announcement.
