DUBLIN, OH (March 6, 2023) – Quantum Health, the industry’s leading healthcare navigation and care coordination company, announced today it has received the 2023 Silver Stevie Award for Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year, presented by the 17th Annual Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service – an international recognition for excellence in disciplines crucial to business success. Quantum Health was awarded this recognition based on the achievements of its frontline customer service members, called Healthcare Warriors®. Today, Quantum Health has over 475 employer clients and supports over 2.4 million members and their families in their healthcare journeys.
More than 2,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition. Finalists were determined by the average scores of more than 170 professionals worldwide in seven specialized judging committees. This is the second year in a row Quantum Health has received this prestigious award. In 2019 and 2020, Quantum Health Founder and Board Chair Kara Trott received a Silver Stevie Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year.
“Healthcare is an unchosen, high-stakes journey that can be complex to navigate. In partnership with employer-sponsored health plans, we simplify access and management of healthcare benefits and resources that can help remove barriers to care for employees and reduce stress and anxiety throughout the process. Our Healthcare Warriors help guide members, whether they’re scheduling routine care or managing high-risk or chronic cases,” said Quantum Health Chief Operating Officer Steven Knight. “We’re so proud of the work they do each day, and we’re thrilled to see their efforts recognized again this year.”
As the first point of contact for members, Healthcare Warriors can leverage data insights using Quantum Health’s Real-Time Intercept® (RTI) model. Warriors are able to engage members early in their healthcare journey and empathetically steer them on a path that can deliver better health and cost outcomes. This effective and popular approach is why year after year Quantum Health maintains high member engagement results.
Quantum Health’s Healthcare Warriors help our employer clients and members to achieve:
Increased benefits utilization among members: Healthcare Warriors identify and engage members early through Quantum Health’s proprietary Real-Time Intercept® (RTI) model, which has increased member households that use their healthcare benefits (84%).
Better patient outcomes through benefits guidance: Health outcomes and benefits utilization for Quantum Health members exceed the national average, including a 16% higher utilization of preventive care, 14.8% fewer hospital inpatient days, and 11.2% fewer hospital readmissions with higher-level navigation and care coordination.
Cost savings due to early intervention: Quantum Health’s employer clients achieve an average annual cost savings of 5.7% claims cost reduction after year one and 14.4% cumulative claims savings after five years using its RTI model.
