January 5, 2017 – Minneapolis, MN — The Board of Directors of CliqStudios today announced that they have appointed Tom Tiller as Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Founder and prior CEO Andy Juang will remain Chairman of the Board.
Tiller brings deep experience as a CEO to CliqStudios. He began his career at General Electric in GE Aerospace as a design engineer and progressed through a variety of management roles there. He served in senior roles at GE Appliances and GE Silicones. He was the CEO of Polaris Industries and later at Abound Solar. He has served on the advisory board of CliqStudios for the past three years. Tiller has a BSME from MIT and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
In addition to Tiller’s hiring, Boston-based private equity firm Great Hill Partners recently made a strategic investment in the company. Great Hill brings notable expertise investing in successful e-commerce companies in the home category, including Wayfair and The Shade Store.
